HDD Repetitive Clicking due to Worn Heads

Diagnoses:
Worn read/write heads.

Possible Causes:
Long-term normal wear (7 - 10 years).

Explanation:
That repetitive clicking you hear are the read/write heads searching for data it cannot find. It cannot find the data because the heads have worn down and lost some of their magnetic strength.
If this drive is more than 7 years old, there may be enough wear on the heads to cause this to happen. If this is happening on a drive before the warranty has expired -- take it back!

Solution:
Head Assembly Replacement. We will match & replace the worn heads with ones that work then recover the data.

Here is the possible labor cost not including parts:

Data Recovery via head stack assembly replacement.
$300 + parts ($25-$125 up)
We will validate this on-line estimate and offer you a signed quote after looking at your drive.
