Hard Drive No-Nos

  • Don't waste your money on data recovery software if your HDD (spinning-type Hard Disk Drive) is making unusual or loud noises or is not spinning when plugged in. Data recovery apps (or ANY app) can only work properly with a properly working hard drive system, this one is broken. Take it to data recovery. That's us!

  • Don't continue to run that dying hard drive! A standard computer can inadvertently ruin the data on a dying hard drive. The computer may write over occupied tracks it thinks are free, thus erasing good data forever! #@%^&!

  • Don't expect the computer shop (or Best Buy) to recover your drive, they are not in the data recovery business! They will send it out to a data recovery service where markup is great.
