Beeping Noise due to Severely Misaligned HDD Motor Caused by Physical Shock

Diagnosis: Severely misaligned HDD motor.

Possible Causes:
Dropping a HDD 2ft. on to a hard surface while it's not actually running can cause this misalignment to happen. If it was running during the drop, the damage could be even worst requiring you to replace some or all of the heads.

Solution:
We will replace the damaged motor with a matching good-working motor. When the damaged parts are replaced & tested, we can then start recovering your data to a new storage device. This can take 1-4 days depending on how bad the damage is.

Here is the possible labor cost not including parts:
HDD Data Recovery via Motor Replacement.
$300 + parts ($50 ~ $150 up)
